To those of my friends and family who were with me ten years ago when I last blogged as the SmartLivingDiva, welcome back.
To those who are new to the site, welcome now.
When I was blogging ten years ago, my life was quite different. My children were all littlies and I was doing that juggling that comes with the territory of motherhood. I was at the start of some great adventures, but was not entirely happy with where I was and where I was going. Gradually, my life got busier as I went back to work full-time, and the blogging died out.
What a shame.
But now I’m in a stronger position than ever. Not necessarily because my life is any the more sorted. And not because my adventures are over. But definitely because I am starting to be happy with where I am. The possibilities of my life are still endless, but I feel more excited than ever to explore these and make everything happen that I want to happen.
The past ten years have also taught me a lot about the skill set I have. I’ve helped friends and families to make decisions about their lives, I’ve achieved things practically and theoretically and I’m ready to share those skills.
One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that life doesn’t stop changing. Some people see that as scary. I’m here to show you that change shouldn’t be avoided as something fearful. It’s inevitable and by hiding away from it, women are unprepared for what is coming. Change needs to be met head on. Embraced.
And then maybe, together, we can all love the life we live.
